After getting no early love from Twitter on the lists capability, I logged in today while waiting for a download to finish to find that I was selected for the retweet beta group. Pretty sweet deal. Twitter must have realized their mistake by not turning me loose on the lists early. I’m such the power user on Twitter. Once I’m through kicking the tires the new retweets they will be rolled out to everyone in a much quicker fashion than the lists. And it will be all because of me. You can thank me later. Or now. It’s inevitable.

I like it. I’m not just saying that. I’m no shill. I think you’ll like it once it arrives on your Twitter doorstep. We’ll have to wait for the native clients to catch up and build this new retweet methodology into their applications. Once that’s done, I expect nothing less than world domination.
