As the casual reader has already noted, this blog might be the most vanilla looking WordPress site around. Certainly the newest and most plain looking one anyway.
Getting to the point. Andy Skelton is working on some WordPress 1.6 magic with regard to Kubrick header images and customized themes. I don’t think I’ll jump in with both feet to implement what he’s got going on just yet. Although I’m tempted.
He’s got a screenshot for you to look at…if I had anything to add to this nifty idea would be to possibly add the option to turn random header loading on/off and from within the collection of images, have a checkbox for each of those images to turn on/off the availability of said images for random image loading.
That idea is probably beyond the scope of what he’s working on, but I think it’d be a pretty nice feature just the same. It would sure simplify rotating header images for the masses.
Ok, I’m off to create some (probably just one) Kubrick header images (see the companion post about it at Kubrick Headers, Part One). Thanks Andy.
